last paintings from quick studies with craig nelson...a serious artist and illustrator. if you bought old motorhead albums or saw movie posters back in the day for national lampoon's x-mas vacation or revenge of the nerds, you've seen this guy's artwork. look him up. his class was great as it forces you to get fast and lose any hesitation while you're painting. sick!

today was the last day of class for fall 2008. a little sad knowing i only have one semester left...on to bigger and better.

this should be at a satisfactory level by saturday...along with four more...and preliminary work for this project...for a presentation.

thought i would take the color to garish and then pull back.

thumbs i plan to develop for thesis...i tried a new process of sketching. 1] ballpoint pen 2] use marker for value 3] go back over with pro-white paint to add highlights....then i plan to paint/color them in photoshop.

heres a super bike for my thesis..still hammering out the design. where the back wheel is, an electromagnetic coil spins to create a field which causes the bike to levitate. ?
