ah! im sick...write a bit about this later...

there's this great Cramps song called 'Zombie Dance'...these drawings remind me of that song. this guy will eventually have a robot with 100 eyes on his back and some clothing, as this is maybe not the angle you want to stare at a character for any length of time.

"whoa," they say, "there goes nick with those wild colors of his," they say. well i got carried away...but this isn't final...just to demonstrate the change of shape and location of major components.

so this is a revision of a current piece in my portfolio. about 1.5 years later and i lost track of how many hours went into it. xhaust.

the electro-magnetic 'motorcycle'. currently, it is still a simplified/modified version of the yamaha R1 [raddest street bike.] ...with some magnetic coil swing arm instead of a rear wheel....and we have a new name for the project, its dope and shall be revealed in the near future!

these are from my first week of an IDS class i am taking with chris myers. hes a cool teacher and really into my thesis idea. these are exercises in adjusting a simple cube into some ambiguous form. i think my friend mikey would be a really great product designer...check out his link below.
