Chimpy Ka-Blammo's Tropic Throwdown!

!? This is Chimpy. I drew him first then imagined a small project where I could mock up a simple 2D scrolling fighter game. I want to make a few other characters...tortoise, hermit crab, seagull, and a beach background to complete the idea. I think it would be a nice addition to my current work.

another shot at zbrush, this time starting from a sphere instead of a head template. really rad learning about this stuff. eventually ill be delving into maya and learn how to use both in tandem.

i illustrated this poster for Or, the Whale's Fall 2009 tour. i was lucky enough to accompany the band, who are some seriously amazing and generous people. the type was created with the help of Sean McBride, and printed with help from Travis Weller over at Yep.
